ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | | • | Provide leadership and oversight for Deposit Operations team including and not limited to: deposit account servicing, ATM, bank by mail and remote transaction processing, record retention and reporting. Examples of tasks include: online account opening, deposit account maintenance, legal orders, restraints, abandoned property, tax reporting, statement audits, imaging, etc. | • | Ensure staffing needs and builds and engaged team through actions of recruiting, training, developing, coaching and evaluating employees. | • | Guide employees using performance standards to meet or exceed key performance indicators that support quality member experience. | • | Manage vendor relationships and maintain a thorough and current knowledge of Federal, State and industry regulations. Review applicable regulations such as Regulation CC, Federal Protected Funds, IRA and IRS reporting, analyze their impact on existing policies, procedures and member service, and ensure compliance with applicable laws. | • | Contribute toward budgetary construction, monitors and makes recommendations for adjustments to reduce expenses. | • | Plan for and analyze gaps and trends and influence direction with business partners. Build cohesive relationships across all business lines and drive change. | • | Responsible for compiling, analyzing, preparing and reporting metrics, results, team development and operational/financial/statistical data to all levels within the organization. | • | Maintain superior knowledge of the variety of products, guidelines and services offered and attend meetings and training programs as required by the Credit Union in order to maintain this level of experience and knowledge. |
• | Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises.
