The role will be responsible for the maturity of the Data Engineers, DBA, Data & BI analyst, continued transformation of IT into a trusted business partner, and ensuring all related technologies are highly available, secure, and current. | | | | | | |
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | | • | Ensure the Data Platform solutions are Scalable, Fault Tolerant, and Highly Secure. | • | Oversee the design, engineering, and deployment of all technology supporting Data Platform services, including day-to-day run activities, upgrades, patching, and annual recovery testing (DR), as well as internal/external audits. | • | Collaborate with business partners to understand data capabilities requirements and translate them into technology solutions using industry standard best practices. | • | Continuously assess and enhance platform offerings to align with business partners needs and industry trends | • | Responsible for developing Key Performance Indicators including metric reporting and dashboarding. | • | Champion SDLC transformation from Waterfall to Agile in all IT teams | • | Oversee the adoption and enforcement of SDLC and ITSM processes, change management procedures, departmental standards, style requirements and all other procedures necessary for data and system tracking and integrity. | • | Employee management, conduct regular team meetings to share credit union news and initiatives, 1x1 meetings to evaluate and coach employees on regular basis, partner to develop training programs that align to employee needs as well as credit unions. Provide employees with stretch opportunities in a fair and balanced manner. Foster a culture of one IT team, documented Procedure & Processes, and IT Services not products. |

Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises.
