PRIMARY FUNCTION

 

Responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of enterprise projects ensuring that they meet desired outcomes, timelines and budget.

 


 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Provide direct leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of project management professionals within the PMO. May indirectly or matrix-manage employees, project leaders, consultants, and contractors as needed.

Develop and maintain high levels of team effectiveness by demonstrating trust, communication skills, collaboration, productivity, diversity and engagement.

Conduct regular assessments and reviews of project management processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.

Work closely with the AVP of Resource Planning and Portfolio Management to align project execution timing and report on project management led projects. 

Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor project progress, risks, and interdependencies.

Foster strong relationships with senior leadership, managers, and key stakeholders across the company to maintain awareness of research initiatives and upcoming project needs. Ensure that potential projects are appropriately identified, communicated, and aligned to the goals of the company.


Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
