Prepare commercial loan documents. Communicate proactively with Commercial Loan Officers, Commercial Credit Analysts, business members and third party vendors to ensure the CU meets the closing date and time expectations of the borrower. Primarily responsible for the more complex and/or time sensitive commercial loan files, relying on extensive commercial loan processing experience to make sound decisions and recommendations. Coordinate commercial loan closings and maintain documentation software. Upload commercial loan information into system and prepare loans to be funded. Complete commercial loan quality control and data for various reports including HMDA. Provide service to internal and external member requests. | | | | | | |
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | | • | Review commercial loan approval/credit memo and determine due diligence requirements. Request, review and interpret supplemental vendor due diligence information to ensure borrower, collateral and guarantor requirements are met and ensure production of the appropriate documentation in compliance with all terms of the commercial loan request. To include such items as: title, UCC search, appraisal, environmental reports, plan and cost reviews, construction inspections/advances, flood determination, HMDA, proof of insurance documents, survey and entity documents. In order to complete these tasks, regularly follow up with legal counsel and other outside vendors (appraisers, environmental companies etc.). Clear liens and credit conditions and confirm loan to value ratios. | • | Draft and/or review commercial loan commitment letters and other loan closing documentation in accordance with approved terms and conditions. Ensure all fees are collected and paid prior to closing. Prepare loans for booking and funding, to include new loans, modifications and renewals. Upload commercial loan documents and track documents out for filing. | • | Process and monitor construction loan advances including ordering title reports and making sure all conditions are met. | • | Prepare ongoing various reports for senior management and commercial lending staff, including maintaining the commercial loan pipeline report. | • | Perform both pre and post-closing quality control; ensuring that all commercial loans are accurate and in compliance with policies and regulations. Perform ongoing data maintenance to loans on system. | • | Reconcile GL accounts and process invoices and checks received for various business lending functions. Ensure vendor information is updated and maintained. | • | Maintain and update commercial loan documentation, including updates and revisions to Laserpro documents. | • | Achieve goals assigned to the Commercial Loan Processor II as part of the assigned departments’ annual operating plan. To include initiating and implementing process improvements to enhance member experience and increase department efficiencies. |
