PRIMARY FUNCTION

 

Support the implementation, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user technology solutions at Hudson Valley Credit Union. Responsible for supporting endpoint management platforms, device lifecycle processes, identity and access management technologies, and end-user productivity tools. The Endpoint Engineer works closely with senior engineers and technology teams to ensure endpoint devices remain secure, compliant, and operational while delivering a positive employee experience.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical troubleshooting skills, knowledge of endpoint management technologies, and a commitment to delivering reliable technology solutions and excellent customer service.

 

 


 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

•

Build, maintain, and optimize Windows desktop and laptop images, endpoint systems, and device lifecycle processes to ensure devices remain current, secure, compliant, and operational.

•

Support endpoint management, software deployment, patching, remediation, inventory, and health monitoring activities using platforms such as Microsoft Intune, BigFix, SCCM, and other approved technologies.

•

Configure, manage, and support desktop, laptop, iOS, and Android devices, including mobile device management, security policy enforcement, and endpoint compliance requirements.

•

Support privileged access management and identity security controls, including CyberArk privileged account onboarding, access validation, endpoint administration controls, and related compliance activities.

•

Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents involving endpoint devices, applications, endpoint management tools, Microsoft 365 services, authentication, licensing, device registration, synchronization, and related productivity technologies.

•

Assist in implementing endpoint security measures that protect devices from malware, unauthorized access, and other threats while ensuring alignment with organizational security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

•

Develop and maintain basic PowerShell scripts, technical documentation, procedures, configurations, support records, and operational reports related to endpoint inventory, compliance, device health, and service support activities.

•

Collaborate with senior engineers, administrators, internal teams, and external vendors to support system upgrades, migrations, technology deployments, major incident response, issue resolution, and service improvement efforts.

•

Stay informed of emerging endpoint management technologies, endpoint security trends, and industry best practices while providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing to support analysts and technicians as needed.

Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Working knowledge of endpoint management technologies, Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and end-user computing environments.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune, SCCM, software deployment, mobile device management, and endpoint security concepts.

Basic understanding of privileged access management concepts and identity security controls.

•

Familiarity with CyberArk, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 administration concepts.

•

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments in a fast-paced environment.

•

Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business and technical requirements.
